Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Milton Keynes in which a woman was spat at.

The incident happened at around 2:45pm on Sunday (30/11) at the traffic lights next to Lidl on Stratford Road, Wolverton.

The victim, who was a woman in her thirties, was crossing the road where an offender spat on her.

The offender continued to walk on either Stratford Road towards the roundabout by Tesco or turned onto Radcliffe Street.

Thames Valley Police described the offender in their report as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build, with a short light-coloured stubble beard. He was wearing a dark forest green tracksuit with a hood, a burgundy coat and trainers.

Investigating officer, PC Faraz Ahmed, said, “I am appealing for anybody who witnessed this incident, or who may have dash-cam footage that has captured the incident, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
