Dr.Frights World Tour was a great spooktacular evening, with 4 terrifying scare mazes; The Grindhouse Down In Mexico, Killer Clowns In Ibiza, Yokai Temple and Hollywood Horror The Final Chapter. Upon arrival you are greeted by a funfair-esce sign, as you walk through into the main town square area which was buzzing with excitement from the scare-goers of all ages. Our first destination of choice was The Grindhouse Down In Mexico, when in the queue you could hear screams from the victims which fed into the anticipation and fear. After the anxiety-fuelled wait we were then met with a red light, green light system much akin to that famous scene from The Squid Games, this was a signal to enter (at your own risk). This maze was filled with a variety of characters, steer clear from the chainsaw maniac! After surviving the first scare maze we jumped straight into Yokai Temple, oriental themed scare chamber. This maze was filled with sneaky characters and lots of strobe lights, at some points difficult to guide your way through (after we get lost round a couple of corners and ambushed by many theatrical characters). We then took a 30 minute break in the town square area to calm our nerves and compose ourselves for the second half of fear induced chaos! The Town Square Area is filled with multiple doors (which go nowhere) and a spooky aesthetic. Hollywood Horror The Final Chapter, a maze for the horror movie buff, composed entirely of iconic horror scenes; featuring some of the most feared horror movie characters of all time! Finally we went to Killer Clowns in Ibiza, fighting our way through the airport, plane and then Ibiza! Trying our best to avoid the killer clowns. This was my particular favourite because of the club tunes played throughout (which eased the nerves). Overall it was a great evening spent at Dr.Frights World Tour. Very Family Friendly, offering food and drink stands and adequate toilet facilities. It was a well managed event with 4 excellent scare mazes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys a scare maze. The aesthetics and character interaction really intensifies the experience and brings the whole event together. We arrived at 19:30 and left at 21:00, i would strongly recommend the fast track passes as the standard queue seemed rather long for each maze.
